The Subtle Cosmos
Photo Untitled No. 3 received Honorary Mention and was included in Trees Exhibition, in conjunction with The Essex Tree Committee, at the Darkroom Gallery in Essex, Vermont; from September 20th, 2018 till October 28th, 2018.
The Subtle Cosmos invites you into a delicate interplay of light and shadow, where the ordinary reveals its hidden universes. Here, nature’s quiet complexities unfold through fragmented reflections and layered textures, tracing a fragile cosmos beneath the surface of perception. In these images, the boundaries between micro and macro, seen and unseen, dissolve, offering a space to observe the faint, almost imperceptible rhythms that connect all things in a gentle cosmic dance.
Watching a family of owls for years in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco encouraged me to look up more than usual. And in the process, I rediscovered unique qualities and nature of trees. It’s been a very enriching experience that I am hoping to capture in my ongoing photography series, The Subtle Cosmos.
